And the truth is that there are many factors that can damage our belongings. Various items such as appliances, clothes, the car, and even parts and accessories of the house, being made of different materials, can be affected by agents such as dirt or moisture.
Understanding that many times some of these items are very expensive, and we have been able to buy them with a lot of effort, the most logical thing is that we want to protect them.

For textiles and clothing

How to apply Protecteur Textile & Cuir?
On a completely clean surface, spray the product until it is completely soaked and let it dry. The drying process takes about two hours. After that time, you can test it by dropping drops of water on the surface treated with Textile & Cuir, and you will see how it slips.
But all the good things don’t stop there. The effects of Textile & Cuir will last for a long time. If treated correctly, the surface waterproofing will last for about a year, or approximately after 30 washes.
For glass
To continue, we present you three great products: Vitre, Céramique et Miroir; Vitres Autonettoyantes and Nettoyant Anti Calcaire. These products are ideal for protecting glass surfaces (such as windows or doors).
Let’s start by talking about the product Vitre, Céramique et Miroir. This is ideal for treating and protecting glass (and also ceramic) surfaces. This product makes cleaning very easy and can be done with just water. In addition, this great product protects these surfaces against dirt and calcifications.
On the other hand, in the case of Vitres Autonettoyantes, as you can read in its name, it has a unique feature. It is designed for outdoor use and, thanks to a coating it creates, it allows your glass surfaces to clean themselves with factors such as rain.
To finish this section, let’s talk about Nettoyant Anti Calcaire. Just by knowing its name, you can imagine its function. This product is designed to protect surfaces that tend to get wet (such as bathroom or shower glass and ceramic tiles). It comes in gel form and prevents calcifications and removes some residues such as mould and mildew.
How to apply these glass protection products?
To begin with, the surface to be treated should ideally be completely clean of any agent that could affect it (grease or dust, for example, which are the most common). For optimal cleaning, we recommend using Nettoyant décontaminant, a specialised product designed to remove impurities from glass and similar materials.
Once the surface has been cleaned, the next step is to apply the desired product by spraying (in the case of Vitre, Céramique et Miroir or Vitres Autonettoyantes) or applying it evenly with a sponge (if you use Nettoyant Anti Calcaire.).
Then, if you sprayed, spread the product with a cloth, using circular movements and then polish the surface with another cloth. Finally, wait for it to dry (approximately 30 minutes).
In the case of applying the Nettoyant Anti Calcaire gel, you should leave it to act for about fifteen minutes. However, if the surface is stained or has accumulated dirt, it is best to wait two to four hours.
Once this time has elapsed, the surface will be ready and you can check this by pouring a little water over it. As for the duration of protection provided by the products, this will vary.
Vitre, Céramique et Miroir will last approximately one year on the surface once applied. ; Vitres Autonettoyantes will last approximately five years after application. Whereas, the duration of Nettoyant Anti Calcaire will depend on the use of the treated surfaces.
For metals
To protect metal surfaces, you can do it in a masterly way, with Chrome et Inox. The name of this product is clear: it is used to protect chrome and stainless-steel surfaces, making them easier to clean and easier to maintain.
Chrome & Inox, with its waterproofing and anti-limescale effect, is ideal for treating surfaces of household appliances with metal housings, stoves, taps, etc.
How is Chrome & Inox applied?
As with the other products, the surface to be treated must be completely clean. Then, the application is quite similar to that of the previous product in this list. Chrome & Inox should be sprayed evenly and directly on the surface to be treated, then spread with a cloth and circular movements, polish with another cloth and let it dry.
After one hour, the surface will be ready and can be tested by pouring water on it. The duration of this treatment is approximately one year.
For plastic and acrylic
As you can see from its name, Plastique Traitement is an ideal product for protecting plastic and acrylic surfaces. It is very useful to protect parts of the house, such as the sink in the bathroom, the shower, Plexiglass walls or some parts of the car.
How is Plastique Traitement applied?
Well, the application of Plastique Traitement is no big deal. You have to follow the same instructions as with the previous products: prepare the surface to be treated, leaving it very clean and then spray the product evenly.
In this case, it will be necessary to spread Plastique Traitement with a paper cloth, always with circular movements, and then eliminating the excesses and polishing with another cloth. Let it dry and after half an hour it will be ready. The protection of this product will last about one year.
For ceramic seals
Previously we have presented some products that can work to protect ceramics. And it is that this material can be present in many parts of our house. However, if you have ceramic tiles, surely you have noticed that the seals located between them tend to get dirty or filled with fungus frequently.
What can you do in this case? Luckily for you, there is this wonderful product called Hydrofuge Joint de Carrelage, because white stamps deserve to stay white! Likewise if they are any other color. This product will protect your tile seals from mold, mildew, moisture, dirt and other debris.
How to apply Carrelage Hydrofuge Joint?
The first thing to do, before applying the product, is to clean the seals of each tile. All traces of dirt and mildew must be removed. This is important, as good cleaning will ensure good protection of the seals. You can use sandpaper or wash with a brush and applying force.
Let the surface dry and, once dry, apply Hydrofuge Joint de Carrelage with a brush, so that the surface is saturated with the product. Now you must let it dry for at least 24 hours.
After that time, your ceramic tile seals will be fully set and well protected. Check by spilling a little water. The duration of this protection will be approximately ten years.
